The Pole on Sunday cruised past Tunisia's Ons Jabeur to win the Italian Open tournament in Rome, defending her crown and claiming her eighth career singles title.
Świątek defeated Jabeur 6-2, 6-2, notching up her 28th straight match victory and claiming her fifth WTA title in a row.
The 20-year-old, coached by countryman Tomasz Wiktorowski, in early April took over as the new world number one in women's tennis, becoming the first Pole to top the WTA rankings.
The Polish tennis player last month won the Stuttgart Open tournament in Germany and the Miami Open tournament in the US state of Florida.
In March, Świątek won the BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament at Indian Wells, California.
In February, she claimed the title at the Qatar Open tennis tournament in Doha.
In May last year, Świątek won the 2021 Italian Open in Rome. In February 2021, she triumphed at the Adelaide International tournament in Australia.
Świątek in October 2020 won the French Open, claiming her maiden Grand Slam title and becoming the first Pole to lift a Grand Slam singles trophy.
