More medals for Polish wrestlers at world championships in Serbia

Poland’s Anhelina Łysak won the bronze in the women’s 57 kg, and countrywoman Jowita Wrzesień took another in the 59 kg at the World Wrestling Championships in Belgrade on Thursday, taking their nation's medal tally at the event in Serbia to three.

A day earlier, Poland's Anna Łukasiak claimed the bronze in the women’s 50 kg.

More than 800 wrestlers from 78 countries, both men and women, are competing for medals at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships, which run in the Serbian capital until Sunday.

Poland scooped a total of four medals, one gold and three bronze, at last year's world wrestling championships in Oslo, Norway.
