Champions League: Poland's Marciniak to referee Barcelona vs. Inter Milan at Camp Nou

Poland’s Szymon Marciniak will referee Wednesday’s match between Barcelona and Italian side Inter Milan at the Spanish giants' iconic Camp Nou stadium in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, officials have announced.

This will be the 41-year-old’s second match as a referee this Champions League season, broadcaster Polsat Sport has reported.

Marciniak will be assisted by Polish linesmen Paweł Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz at Camp Nou on Wednesday night.

Marciniak is among 36 referees from various countries who have been selected to officiate during this year’s football World Cup in Qatar.
