"I'm very proud and happy," said Buczyńska. "Our excellent performance in Sofia is a reward for years of hard work."

She told reporters that the Polish team was aiming to make its mark at the European championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, in May and the world championships in Valencia, Spain, in August.
