Wrestling: Bronze for Poland's Krawczyk in Zagreb

Poland's Katarzyna Krawczyk has finished third in the women’s 55 kg freestyle at the European Wrestling Championships in Zagreb, winning her country's second medal of the competition in Croatia.

The 32-year-old claimed a podium spot after beating Elnura Mammadova of Azerbaijan on Thursday.

France's Tatiana Debien also earned a bronze medal after defeating German Annika Wendle, Poland's PAP news agency reported.

Romania's Andrea Beatrice Ana grabbed the gold, while Hungary's Erika Bognar took the silver.

Krawczyk's bronze marked Poland's second medal at the championships, after Sebastian Jezierzański took the bronze in the men’s 86 kg freestyle a day earlier.
