Speed skating: World Cup silver for Poland in Quebec

Poland has won the silver in the women’s team sprint at the long-track speed skating World Cup in Quebec City, Canada.

The Polish team consisted of Andżelika Wójcik, Iga Wojtasik and Karolina Bosiek.

The Netherlands grabbed the gold on Saturday, clocking in at 1:27.09, while the Poles finished in 1:27.79.

Kazakhstan secured the bronze, with a time of 1:29.16.

The final World Cup stop in Quebec City will be followed by the world championships in Calgary from February 15 to 18.
