The 27-year-old, who is ranked world No. 10 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), outplayed Spain's Pablo Llamas Ruiz 7-6, 6-4 in the last eight of the men's singles on Friday.
The Polish player had a bye in the first round. He defeated Britain's Jan Choinski 7-6, 6-4 in the second round.
Hurkacz will now face Chile's Cristian Garin for a place in the championship match.
The 2024 Estoril Open runs until Sunday.
