Linette, who is ranked world No. 48 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), defeated the top-seeded Czech 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 in their semifinal showdown in Prague on Thursday afternoon.
Earlier in the day, Poland’s Fręch booked her place in the championship match, with a victory over the Czech Republic's Laura Samson, reaching her maiden WTA singles final.
Fręch and Linette will face off for the Czech Open title on Friday.
Meanwhile, Poland's Iga Świątek, the world No. 1 in women's tennis, is set to compete in the Olympic tennis tournament in Paris.
Świątek will play Romania's Irina-Camelia Begu in the first round of the women's singles at the Roland Garros Stadium, the very venue where the Polish star won her fourth French Open title last month.
