Olympics: Rowing bronze for Poland at Paris Games

The Polish men’s quadruple sculls team won bronze in the Olympic rowing competition in Paris on Wednesday, earning the country's third medal at the 2024 Games.

The Polish team of Dominik Czaja, Fabian Barański, Mirosław Ziętarski and Mateusz Biskup finished third in their Olympic final, 2.59 seconds behind winners the Netherlands.

Italy earned the silver, finishing 0.19 seconds ahead of Poland.

The first medal for Poland at the Games in France was won by Klaudia Zwolińska, who claimed silver in the women’s canoe slalom K1 competition on Sunday.

The country's second medal in Paris came from Martyna Swatowska-Wenglarczyk, Alicja Klasik, Renata Knapik-Miazga and Aleksandra Jarecka, who took bronze in the women's épée team competition on Tuesday.

The Paris 2024 Olympics opened last Friday and run until August 11.
