Lewandowski's goals came in the 10th and 92nd minutes of the match at the Spanish giants' temporary Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys stadium, marking the 100th and 100st times the Polish star striker has scored in the Champions League.
The 36-year-old Pole, FIFA's world player of the year for 2020 and 2021, is the competition’s third-highest all-time scorer, behind Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentina’s Lionel Messi.
Several other Polish players, among them Inter Milan midfielder Piotr Zieliński, are also hoping to make their mark in this season's Champions League.
Thirty-six teams are taking part in a total of eight rounds of fixtures in the Champions League group stage, which kicked off in September and will conclude in January.
The Champions League final will be played on May 31 next year at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.

Lewandowski joined Barcelona from German heavyweights Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022.
Meanwhile, Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny is still waiting for his debut for Barcelona after joining the Spanish giants last month, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
The former Arsenal and Juventus goalie has been selected as the replacement for Barça's German keeper Marc-André ter Stegen, who is out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.
