FOCUS :: Polish museum initiates UNESCO bid

A visit to the Museum of Papermaking in Duszniki-Zdrój, south-western Poland, which in 2019, in cooperation with papermaking museums in the Czech Republic (Velke Losiny) and Germany (Hamburg), launched a bid to enter the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.

Recognized as a historic landmark in Poland in 2011, the Paper Mill in Duszniki-Zdrój is one of the dozen surviving paper mills in Western Europe which still engage in the production of traditional, handmade paper. Join Izabela Mieczkowska, from the Museum's promotion and publishing department, on a tour of the paper mill.
