Opera houses and theatres across Europe have offered to help ballet dancers fleeing the war in Ukraine, the British public broadcaster noted on its website.
In Warsaw, the Polish National Ballet has offered shelter to about 30 Ukrainian dancers in its opera house and given them the opportunity to join the company class, the BBC reported.
Meanwhile, Poland's National Opera has said it has been trying to help Ukrainian refugees by providing them with housing and collecting "essentials" for them.
"Our thoughts and hearts are with the Ukrainian nation as they are facing atrocious aggression," the opera said in a tweet in English earlier this month.
