The tour will highlight Polish Christmas carols, which are an integral part of national culture and tradition, according to the ensemble's director Zbigniew Cierniak.
"Each carol radiates warmth and hope, reminding us of the universal values of love, family and community," Cierniak said.
He described the upcoming tour as "a musical journey that brings together people of all generations."
From Chicago, which is home to a large Polish American community, the Śląsk ensemble will travel to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver and Phoenix.
In addition to Christmas carols and songs, the programme of the concerts includes Polish folk music hits performed by the ensemble’s choir and orchestra.
The Christmas tour marks the ensemble's 17th American tour in its 72-year history.
Last month, Śląsk performed in Japan and also gave concerts in the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, France and Germany, on a tour marking 20 years of Poland's European Union membership.
The Śląsk Song and Dance Ensemble is based in Koszęcin, in Poland's southern Silesia region.
