A soloist with the Grand Theatre/National Opera in Warsaw from 1964 to 1988, she won critical and popular acclaim for her performances in iconic coloratura soprano roles, such as Lucia in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, Violetta in Verdi’s La Traviata, Mimi in Puccini’s La Bohème, and Hanna in Stanisław Moniuszko’s The Haunted Manor.

In later years, Trawińska-Moroz served as artistic director for operetta companies in Szczecin, in Poland's northwest, and Warsaw.

She then founded the Polish Music Theatre, a private enterprise that she led for 14 years, bringing music productions to audiences in various countries.

Her talents were sought by opera companies across Europe, including in France, Britain, Spain and Italy, where she performed regularly.

She was also highly active in the song and oratorio repertoire, performing in nearly every European country.

In addition to her stage career, Trawińska-Moroz was a long-time faculty member at the Music Academy in Warsaw.

In 2009, she was honoured with the Gloria Artis Silver Medal for Cultural Merit, a prestigious Polish state decoration.
