For the sixth time, Polish Radio Chopin joins forces with the Arts and Culture Centre in Kalisz to organise a music festival that has become a permanent fixture in the cultural calendar of the region.
This year, the patron's music will resonate in combination with the sounds of other masters who considered timbre as a prior means of expression in their work. In the historic Radziwiłł Princes' Hunting Palace in Antonin, apart from Chopin's works the spectators will have a chance to hear works by Debussy, Szymanowski, Grieg, Ravel and Respighi.
The 2025 festival programme consists of eight concerts - and the performers include Piotr Alexewicz, Magdalena Lisak, Łukasz Chrzęszczyk, Aleksander Dębicz, Piotr Sałajczyk, Michał Rot and Wojciech Fudala. As a bonus - two Polish piano rising stars, Wojciech Pietrzak and Eryk Koszela, will perform on April 12 and 13. The recitals will be hosted by Róża Światczyńska and Adam Rozlach - and all concerts will be broadcast on Polish Radio Chopin.
A novelty introduced at this year's edition will be workshops for children and youth, held at the festival grounds on April 12.
