A musical blockbuster directed by Mariusz Treliński perhaps this time with more opera idiom than his trademark cinema, but still with images recalling the films of Stanley Kubrick or Ridley Scott and a finale that brings to mind Lars von Trier. And symbols from his earlier productions in Warsaw, such as the giant baby from "Turandot" or something like the creature from his first groundbreaking "King Roger".

Notwithstanding some robotic antics representing the commedia part of the original, the overall mood is of despondency, despair, and a great loneliness without solace. A loneliness which can only be understood against the vastness of space.  Director Mariusz Treliński, dramaturgist Marcin Cecko, set and lights designer Fabien Lédé and Nadja Stefanoff who sings Ariadne are speaking to Elżbieta Krajewska.
