The Chopin Manor, located in the Spa Park, was created in 1802-1805. Initially the building called the 'spa theater' served as a theater and a concert hall. It was named Chopin's Manor to commemorate the concert of the brilliant musician there in 1826. The composer spent the summer having treatment in Duszniki Zdrój and during his stay he also gave his first charity concert there. The International Chopin Festival, the oldest piano festival in the world, has been taking place in Duszniki Zdrój every summer since 1946 to commemorate that event.
