The exhibition, entitled Landscape of Leisure, features a wide range of examples of Polish leisure architecture of the past 120 years, including holiday centres and homes, sanatoriums, health resorts, mountain hostels and lakeside cabins.
These facilities differ in style and size, but were all meant to serve relaxation, recreation and health, according to officials.
They are characterized by exceptional architectural quality and peacefully blend with the surrounding landscape, reporters were told.
The exhibition was organized by the Warsaw-based Adam Mickiewicz Institute and the Museum of Architecture in Wrocław, southwestern Poland.
It runs until the end of March.
