Warsaw's 2022 Book Fair has already started and will continue to Sunday.
Alongside 500 exhibitors from 13 countries, numerous panel discussions, workshops, concerts and meetings with authors are planned.
Visitors will also be able to meet renowned women authors from Ukraine.
There will be no publishers or stalls from Russia; there will be almost 35 Ukrainian organisations represented.
A special transport of books from Ukraine has been organised in cooperation with the UKrainian Institute of Books and the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland; these books will be on sale during the fair.
Famous Ukrainian authors who will be participating include: Oksana Zabużko, Wiktoria Amelina, Tamara Duda, Lubow Jakymczuk and Kateryna Kałytko.
Entrance is free and the event is partially accessible via social media.
