The 11th Stanisław Moniuszko Vocal Competition took place in Warsaw on June 4-11. The competition's Grand Prix went to Juliana Grigorian (soprano) from Armenia, with Nombulelo Yende (Republic of South Africa, soprano) taking First Prize and a collection of other awards in the women's category.
Poland's Szymon Mechliński (baritone) and Ukraine's Volodymyr Tyshkov (bass) shared Second Prize (First not awarded) in the men's category.
