Ticket sales for next year's competition began on October 1, offering passes for all performances scheduled from October 3 to 20, 2025, as well as for the prizewinners' concerts.
Poland's National Chopin Institute, the competition’s main organiser, made all tickets available online, while reserving a quarter for local residents to purchase in person at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw.
Online tickets sold out within half an hour, while those queuing at the museum waited for hours to secure their spots.
Radio Poland's Agnieszka Bielawska has the story.
