The presentation of a new aerobatic glider, the I-45 JAY, in Warsaw marks the first time in three decades that Poland has introduced a plane of this type. The country has a rich history in gliding, beginning with a design team in the mid-1930s tasked with creating an aerobatic glider. During the event I spoke to the management and engineers at the Warsaw Institute of Aviation to find out more.
