But indoor sports facilities across the country are subject to a 50-percent capacity cap and stringent health protocols, under a multi-stage plan unveiled by the government to ease Poland's COVID-19 restrictions.
Previously venues such as swimming pools were only available to organized groups of children and young people, with attendance limited to 50 percent.
As it eases its COVID-19 curbs, Poland in the middle of this month allowed football stadiums to partially reopen to spectators.
Public health officials on Friday reported 946 new infections, down from a high of 35,251 single-day cases on April 1.
As of Friday, Poland had injected over 13.3 million first doses of COVID-19 vaccines, while more than 6.3 million people had been fully inoculated, according to the health ministry.
