The state-owned airline said on social media that “because of the unstable situation” on aviation markets and restrictions following the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Poland and worldwide “all international flights scheduled from June 15 to June 30, 2020 have been cancelled.”
A previous suspension was due to expire on June 14.
Meanwhile, flights on a number of domestic passenger routes resumed at the start of this month as Poland eases restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
Poland in mid-March temporarily closed its borders to non-residents and suspended most international flights and train services in a move to contain the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.
A total of 26,561 people have tested positive for the COVID-19 disease in Poland, with 1,157 deaths from the coronavirus so far, public health officials said on Sunday evening.
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, LOT in April dropped a plan to purchase German airline Condor.
