Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Sunday thanked Poland for sharing 1 million doses of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccines with his country "on a not-for-profit basis."
Dworczyk, who serves as the government commissioner for the national vaccination programme, told Poland’s PAP state news agency on Monday that Poland had also sent 2.4 million Pfizer vaccines to Spain and 600,000 to Portugal, as well as 1 million doses of Moderna jabs to Norway.
On Tuesday, 650,000 AstraZeneca vaccine doses are scheduled to be sent to Ukraine, Dworczyk said.
The deliveries come after Dworczyk announced in July that Poland would share its surplus of COVID-19 vaccines with other countries.
