Strong winds at the seaside and avalanches in the mountains have caused trouble in the northern and southern parts of the country.

The wind at the Baltic Sea has been blowing at speeds of up to 90 kph, and the sea level has risen.

Last week, the sea swallowed up a beach in the northern city of Gdynia.

In the mountains, the situation has become even more difficult, with some trails closed to tourists.

Radio Poland's Piotr Miszczuk has the story.
