Poland says buffer zone has reduced attempted crossings from Belarus by 70%

Following the reintroduction of a buffer zone at its eastern border with Belarus, Poland has seen a 70-percent drop in the number of illegal border crossings from that country.

On Wednesday, there were 80 such attempts.
