Poland holds EU Code Week

Poland has joined other EU countries in holding Code Week, a grassroots movement to help young people master the basics of coding and computational thinking.

Supported by the European Commission, the project is now in its 10th year.

“The purpose is to develop a new contemporary language that is coding, contained in any device we use every day such as a toothbrush, oven, smartphone or car," said Magdalena Tarczewska-Szymańska of Poland’s data networks operator NASK.

"We want kids to know more about it," she added.
