Politians and experts from Ukraine, Lithuania and other EU countries are meeting in Vilnius to discuss plans for rebuilding Ukraine.
Taras Kachka, the Ukrainian Viceminister for the Economy, has stated during the conference that the Ukrainian economy has lost half its productivity and import and export levels have also halved.
Aivaras Abromaviczius, the CEO of the Ukrainian agricultural concern Agro Region and also attending the conference, emphasized that international cooperation was essential to solve Ukraine's macroeconomic challenges.
Abromaviczius said that Ukraine would be in a position to export more grain if the border jams could be eased with the cooperation of Poland, Czech, Hungary and Lithuania. This would offset the drop in exports caused by Russian blockades.
