Over 400,000 Ukrainian refugees found jobs in Poland: audio report

Poland has been successful in supporting Ukrainian refugees on its labour market, with as many as 430,000 having found jobs in the country, according to a new report, out on Monday.

The figure means that two thirds of working-age Ukrainians who have settled in Poland after fleeing the Russian invasion, are now in legal employment.

The new study, conducted by EWL, a recruitment agency, and the University of Warsaw, collates the characteristics of the Ukrainian people who have crossed  into Poland and stayed, with the profiles of those who have gone further West, to Germany. 

In an interview with Radio Poland’s Michał Owczarek, EWL’s International Development Director Michalina Sielewicz discusses the highlights of the report.
