Ukraine's "Prawda" has reported that Duma (Russia's lower house of parliament) MPs have received an invitation for 3 pm tomorrow for a "festive signing" of the annexation of Ukrainian territories.

Putin is set to address the audience of MPs and his spokesman Dmitry Peskov said there would be a concert on the Red Square.

Russia has rushed through "referenda" at gun point in 4 regions of Ukraine: Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that any attempt to proceed with annexation, "would have no legal value and deserves to be condemned."

United States envoy Linda Thomas-Greenfield said the US will introduce a resolution at the UN Security Council calling on member states to refuse to recognise any changes proposed by Russia.
