Meanwhile, 75 percent of respondents believe that the Russian invasion of Ukraine poses a direct threat to Poland’s security, the study by pollster CBOS found.
The survey was carried out from November 7 to 17 on a representative random sample of 1,038 respondents, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
The study also found that around 50 percent of Poles were providing support to Ukraine and its people amid the Russian invasion.
More than 8.25 million people have crossed into Poland from Ukraine since the start of the war in late February, the Polish Border Guard agency reported on Thursday.
Meanwhile, almost 6.43 million people have left Poland for Ukraine since Russia invaded on February 24, the agency also said.
A Polish deputy prime minister said on Wednesday that his country was "currently home to more than 2 million Ukrainians."
A deputy interior minister said in mid-September that Poland was home to some 1.3 million Ukrainian refugees after many who had fled Russia's invasion decided to return to their country.
Poland in March enacted a measure to offer wide-ranging support to Ukrainians escaping the Russian invasion of their country. The measure grants them residence rights and ensures access to education, healthcare and social benefits.
