Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to 105,250: report

Around 105,250 Russian troops have been killed in Ukraine since Vladimir Putin invaded the country in late February, according to Ukrainian military authorities.

The Russians have also lost 3,026 tanks, 6,059 armoured personnel vehicles and 2,010 artillery systems during their military campaign in Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Friday, as cited by state news agency Ukrinform.

On Thursday alone, Ukrainian forces "eliminated" 690 Russian soldiers, according to the ukrinform.net website.

Other Russian losses in Ukraine include 423 multiple launch rocket systems, 212 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 283 warplanes, 267 helicopters, 16 warships, and 1,740 unmanned aerial vehicles, ukrinform.net reported.

Friday is day 310 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
