By the morning of June 14, 2023, at least 1,504 children had been either killed or injured in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression, the Ukrainian Prosecutor-General’s Office said in a statement, as quoted by state news agency Ukrinform.
The statement added that these figures were not final as work was under way "in the areas of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories," according to the ukrinform.net website.
On Tuesday, a 17-year-old boy was killed in a massive Russian missile attack on the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, Ukrinform reported.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, launching the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.
Wednesday is day 476 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
