Polish, Czech gov’t ministers to hold talks in Poland's Katowice

Polish government ministers are expected to discuss Russia's war against Ukraine and a range of bilateral and European issues with their Czech counterparts during two-way talks in Katowice, southern Poland, on Thursday.

The talks, known as intergovernmental consultations, will be led by Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the Czech Republic’s Petr Fiala, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Major topics include energy, infrastructure and defence, according to Polish government spokesman Piotr Müller.

Another key focus is migration, he told reporters.
