"The Poles are our closest neighbors, partners, and allies; without an alliance with Poland, we cannot win this war," she told the gathered officials and media at the Third Forum on the Reconstruction of Ukraine, organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) in Kyiv.

With the clock ticking on Ukraine's ambitions to join the European Union and NATO, Vereshchuk made it clear that unity with Poland is non-negotiable. "We must resolve all misunderstandings and limitations now," she stated, calling for immediate dialogue, especially on economic issues affecting Polish businesses and agriculture. "When we talk, we find our problems aren't as big as they seem."

Vereshchuk didn't mince words about the need for Polish-Ukrainian cooperation. "We must lead by example—our governments need to sit down and hash out any controversies before they explode into bigger issues," she urged. She added: "If we don't, we'll face blocked borders and political standoffs instead of progress."

Highlighting Poland's journey from corruption to EU membership, Vereshchuk emphasized, that Ukrainians "need to learn from those who have walked this thorny path and avoid repeating their mistakes".

At the same time, she praised the understanding between Poles and Ukrainians, asserting: "I firmly believe that there are no people who understand us better than the Poles."
