In a statement on the Telegram messaging app, the air force reported that Russia also launched two Iskander ballistic missiles.
According to the Russian state news agency TASS, the missiles destroyed two Patriot missile launchers in the Odesa region.
Meanwhile, local Ukrainian authorities reported that three people were killed in the Kherson region as a result of Russian shelling the previous day.
In a village north of Kherson, two people died under the rubble of a house struck by artillery fire. A third victim was killed in a settlement south of the city.
Kherson was captured by Russian forces at the beginning of the invasion in February 2022.
After intense fighting, Ukrainian forces regained control of much of the region.
However, towns and villages near the front line remain frequently shelled by Russian artillery.
