Ukrainian forces have repelled dozens of Russian assaults in just one day, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian army.

The fiercest fighting is reported in the Donetsk region, particularly around the cities of Pokrovsk and Kurakhovo. Russian forces launched nearly 80 attacks in this area, deploying 11 tanks and 46 armored combat vehicles in one of the largest battles. Ukrainian forces repelled these assaults, with 149 direct clashes reported along the front line.

According to reports, Russian troops also carried out isolated assaults near Kharkiv, Lyman, and Kramatorsk.

In addition to ground assaults, Ukraine faced a massive drone attack. Ukrainian air defenses successfully downed 25 out of 38 drones. However, three drones entered Romanian territory, and one of the targets was the city of Izmail in the Odessa region. Shrapnel from a downed drone injured two people and damaged a private home and an administrative building.

Authorities in the Zhytomyr region in northern Ukraine also reported a drone attack, with debris damaging about 10 houses and an infrastructure facility.
