Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to hold meetings on this issue with U.S. representatives, including Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, as well as European leaders.
The U.S. peace plan gained particular relevance following a recent conversation between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, which raised concerns about Ukraine being left out of negotiations.
Despite Trump's announcement of talks with Russian representatives, Russia is not officially participating in the conference.
President Zelensky's office emphasized that a permanent peace agreement must also involve European countries.
