In Samarivskyi district, a drone struck a residential block, burying the girl beneath rubble. Emergency crews rescued her, but she died en route to hospital, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said.

A separate strike in nearby Nikopol wounded a 47-year-old woman.

“The Russian army again massively deployed drones to the region,” Governor Serhiy Lysak wrote on Telegram, adding that a six-year-old girl and two adults were also hurt. Air defenses downed seven drones over Dnipropetrovsk.

In Kyiv’s Desnianskyi district, debris from a shot-down drone ignited a fire at a recreation center, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. Kyiv’s military administration reported three people sought medical aid.

Ukraine’s air force said Russia launched about 100 drones overnight, of which 37 were intercepted.
