Ukraine’s Air Force said the attack used Shahed strike drones and various decoy drones launched from Russia’s Kursk, Shatalovo, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk areas. It said 76 Shaheds and other drones were shot down over northern and eastern Ukraine.

According to the Air Force, 28 Russian air attack assets hit 15 locations, while downed drones fell in four locations. The response involved Ukrainian aircraft, air defense missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups.

Separately, the General Staff said that on Sunday Russian forces carried out a missile attack and 79 airstrikes, launched one missile and dropped 130 guided aerial bombs. It reported 4,735 shellings, including 26 from multiple launch rocket systems, and 4,711 kamikaze drones used in attacks.

On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian troops repelled 46 assaults, the General Staff said, adding that Russian forces mounted 31 attacks on the Novopavlivka axis.
