At least 19 killed

According to Ukrainian authorities, at least 16 people were killed and 34 wounded at the apartment building in the village of Serhiivka, and another three, including one child, died as rockets struck a nearby holiday resort.

Kirill Timoshenko, an aide to Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, said five children were killed in the Serhiivka block of flats, while eight people were rescued, including three children and a pregnant woman.

Meanwhile, three people, including two children, remained trapped under the rubble in the resort, Timoshenko also said.
