The project aims to match Polish employers with Ukrainian job seekers in the wake of an influx of refugees fleeing Russia's invasion, state news agency PAP reported.
Janusz Cieszyński, an aide to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, told reporters: "We would like all people who are looking for a job during their stay in Poland to have the opportunity to find it in their line of work, commensurate with their qualifications."
He added that the new pracawpolsce.gov.pl service was "intended to connect Ukrainian citizens looking for jobs with Polish employers who offer such employment opportunities."
"We want as many people as possible to use this service," Cieszyński also said. "It is free and available now."
Poland has taken in 4.57 million refugees fleeing Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Polish Border Guard agency reported on Wednesday.
So far, around 270,000 Ukrainian refugees have taken jobs in Poland, according to the Ministry of Family and Social Policy.
The new service was launched after Poland's President Andrzej Duda in May greenlighted a bill to create an extensive digital database of job opportunities for refugees from Ukraine.
Duda signed the legislation into effect after it was fast-tracked through parliament and overwhelmingly approved by both houses of the country's bicameral legislature, the PAP news agency reported at the time.
