The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung has reprimanded the German government for not going beyond "expressions of solidarity" and a "few, old Panzerfaust antitank weapons".
The newspaper has also pointed out that Poland and the Czech Republic were quick to share their T-72s and that Poland has already delivered around 300 tanks.
The Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, on the 1 June made further commitments to accelerate Germany's military support, but to date "these promises have come to nothing" according to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
