The Grot rifles will be delivered in stages until 2026, the Polish defence ministry announced.
Błaszczak told reporters that the Grot rifle was "very popular with Polish Army soldiers" and that talks were under way to order more such weapons in the near future.
He mentioned a target of at least 300,000 rifles, state news agency PAP reported.
"This weapon has also passed the test of combat in Ukraine," Błaszczak said.
"We are consistently strengthening and modernizing the Polish armed forces," he added.
Łucznik has so far supplied the Polish army with around 17,000 Grot rifles, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
Błaszczak told reporters in 2020 that the Grot rifles were “among the best weapons in the world.”
Poland’s government has named defence as a priority and has embarked on a military modernisation drive amid Russia's war in neighbouring Ukraine.
Monday is day 313 of Russia’s war in Ukraine.
