Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to 110,250: report

Around 110,250 Russian troops have been killed in Ukraine since Vladimir Putin invaded the country in February last year, according to Ukrainian military authorities.

The Russians have also lost 3,064 tanks, 6,124 armoured combat vehicles and 2,059 artillery systems during their military campaign in Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Friday, as cited by state news agency Ukrinform.

On Thursday alone, Ukrainian forces "eliminated" 530 Russian soldiers, according to the ukrinform.net website.

Other Russian losses in Ukraine include 431 multiple launch rocket systems, 215 air defence systems, 285 warplanes, 272 helicopters, 16 warships, and 1,844 unmanned aerial vehicles, ukrinform.net reported.

Friday is day 317 of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
