Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to 185,050: report

Around 185,050 Russian troops have been killed in Ukraine since Vladimir Putin invaded the country in February last year, according to Ukrainian military authorities.

The Russians have also lost 3,668 tanks, 7,126 armoured combat vehicles and 2,827 artillery systems during their military campaign in Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Friday, as cited by state news agency Ukrinform.

On Thursday alone, Ukrainian forces killed 630 Russian soldiers, according to the ukrinform.net website.

Other Russian losses in Ukraine include 539 multiple launch rocket systems, 285 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 308 warplanes, 293 helicopters, 18 warships, and 2,394 unmanned aerial vehicles, ukrinform.net reported.

Friday is day 422 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
