The two also talked about “the need to start Ukraine’s accession negotiations with the European Union as soon as possible" and "the postwar reconstruction of Ukraine,” according to the Polish Prime Minister’s Office.
During the meeting, Stefanchuk thanked the Polish government for its "all-round support of Ukraine," Polish state news agency PAP reported.
The Polish Prime Minister’s Office said that Warsaw has already provided Kyiv with more than EUR 3 billion worth of weapons, ammunition and military equipment.
Earlier in the day, Ukraine's Stefanchuk, who is on a two-day visit to Warsaw, met with Poland's lower-house Speaker Elżbieta Witek and upper-house Speaker Tomasz Grodzki.
Wednesday was day 455 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
On Thursday, the top Ukrainian lawmaker is expected to address the Polish parliament.
