The combat operations in the southern section of the front, near Orichiv in the Zaporizhia region, and the western part of the Donetsk region, near Velyanka Novosilka, have exhausted Russian groupings, as they continuously repel assaults, the British defense ministry’s latest intelligence update stated.

According to the report, the lack of coordination between formations from different military districts - Eastern and Southern - is also likely contributing to the problem faced by Russian forces.

Russian groupings fighting in southern Ukraine are also encountering other difficulties, including a lack of proper reserves, shortages of artillery ammunition, and challenges in securing flanks during defensive operations, the report stated.
