The 2023 Radom Air Show featured aerial stunts by aircraft including F-16 fighter jets and FA-50 light combat planes as well as military helicopters, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

NATO allies such as Belgium, Denmark, Greece, the Czech Republic and Finland also took part in this year's air show, according to officials.

Weaponry on display included US-made Patriot air-defence systems, K2 Black Panther main battle tanks from South Korea and American-made HIMARS rocket launchers, in addition to Polish-made Borsuk infantry fighting vehicles, officials said.

The audience was treated to a range of attractions including "breathtaking night-time aircraft performances" and “a lot of pyrotechnics," according to Deputy Defence Minister Wojciech Skurkiewicz.

Other highlights included an aircraft parade and a race between an airplane and a Formula One car, the IAR news agency reported.

The Radom Air Show, held every two years, is one of the largest events of its kind in Europe, according to Polish state news agency PAP.

Public broadcaster Polish Radio was a media partner of this year's event.
